OscarDelta Uber Gulag Shim 3.0 – Professional Handcuff Bypass Tool

The Uber Gulag Shim 3.0 is a highly effective bypass tool for single-lock handcuffs. Developed by Karl OscarDelta and precision-manufactured in the UK, this Version 3.0 combines the best features of the original Uber Shim and the Gulag Shim.
Thanks to its specific length, width, and material thickness, this tool overcomes a wide range of international handcuff models that are resistant to or block standard commercial shims.

Superior Material Properties
Unlike simple spring steel, the Uber Gulag Shim is made of 304 Full Hard Stainless Steel. This stainless steel has been cold-rolled to hardness, giving it exceptional fatigue resistance. With a tensile strength of at least 185,000 PSI, the shim does not break brittlely like spring steel but remains tough and flexible. If it bends under extreme stress, it can usually be straightened out without any problems and reused.

Application tip (Push-Assist):
Never use force to avoid permanently bending the shim. Place the tip where the ratchet arm enters the lock housing. Carefully insert the shim while simultaneously pushing the ratchet arm of the handcuff a little further closed (Push-Assist). This relieves pressure on the pawl and allows the shim to slide gently between the teeth to release the lock.

Note: This tool only works on single-lock handcuffs. Shimming is technically impossible when the double-lock mechanism or special security features are activated.
