The HK-02 is a highly specialized cutting tool that was originally developed for the safe removal of disposable textile handcuffs. Thanks to its sophisticated geometry, however, it has established itself as an indispensable rescue tool in everyday police and rescue operations.
Versatile application possibilities:
- Safe removal of handcuffs: The specially shaped plastic guide slides effortlessly under textile handcuffs and cobra cuffs without injuring the arrestee.
- Seat belt cutter for cars: In the event of an accident or police intervention, seat belts can be cut in a matter of seconds.
- First aid tool: Enables clothing to be cut open quickly and safely to provide immediate access for first aid in the event of a medical emergency.
Design & security:
- Injury-proof: The extremely sharp blade is deeply embedded in the housing. Contact with the skin during handling is virtually impossible.
- Ergonomic handling: The shape has a generous finger opening for a secure grip and an eyelet for attaching to equipment or a key ring.
- Compact & lightweight: Ideal for wearing on a combat vest or in a trouser pocket.

- Intended use: The tool is intended exclusively for cutting through disposable handcuffs (textile/cobra cuffs), safety belts and clothing in emergency situations.
- Not a toy: Due to the sharp blade, the product must not get into the hands of children.
- Maintenance: Check the cutter regularly for damage to the plastic housing. A damaged cutter should no longer be used for safety reasons.
- Blade care: The blade is permanently embedded and is not intended to be changed. Do not attempt to force the housing open.
